This Sterile Processing Tech role involves processing, sterilizing, and maintaining medical instruments and equipment to ensure optimal patient care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, fill and deliver supply orders
- Process and sterilize instrument trays
- Clean and inspect patient equipment
- Gather instruments and supplies for surgical case carts
- Operate sterilization equipment and computer systems
- Inventory and restock departmental supplies and special carts
- Communicate clearly and openly with team members
- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
- Be accountable for performance and seek ways to improve patient experience
- Take initiative for professional growth and contribute to a winning team
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician program
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician program
- 2 years direct instrumentation experience is preferred.
Nice to Have
- 2 years direct instrumentation experience
