Staff Software Engineer

About This Role

Lead the design and development of scalable ATS integrations and APIs within the TypeScript/Node ecosystem. This role involves driving the architecture for high-performance data synchronization and ensuring the long-term reliability and scalability of integrations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations with external vendors using TypeScript and Node
• Design an ATS architecture supporting high-performance data synchronization
• Minimize regressions through strong automated and regression testing
• Ensure ATS architecture is extensible and scalable
• Coach and guide API team members through technical leadership and best practices
• Own and maintain ATS integrations over the long term, ensuring reliability and performance

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience operating at a Staff Engineer level
• Experience building integrations with ATS platforms or handling large-scale dataset ingestion
• Alternatively, strong experience designing and operating ETL processes
• Proven experience building high-performance, reliable APIs
• Experience leading large, multi-layered technical projects
• Strong background in test-driven development and automated testing practices
• Deep experience within the TypeScript / Node.js ecosystem
• Demonstrated ability to work at a detailed level with multiple cross-functional internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 15+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years at a Staff Engineer level

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with integration platforms such as Merge or Kombo
• Experience with recruiting ATS platforms and/or HR technology
