About This Role

This role is for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who will design and deliver training programs for nursing staff and lead the infection control program. The coordinator will ensure high-quality care and maintain a safe environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging training that equips nursing staff to provide the highest quality of care
  • Track and maintain education records, ensuring every staff member has the skills needed
  • Be a trusted resource for staff — from onboarding to ongoing education
  • Partner with leadership to identify training needs and create a year-round education plan
  • Lead the infection control program and serve as the go-to expert for policies and procedures
  • Monitor, track, and analyze infection trends in the facility
  • Educate staff on best practices to keep residents, visitors, and colleagues safe
  • Play a key role in QA/QI meetings and decision-making

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare
  • 2+ years in a post-acute, LTC, skilled nursing, or hospital setting
  • Strong background in leadership, staff education, and infection prevention

Qualifications
