Sr. Technical Program Manager, Workforce Solutions

About This Role

Lead complex, cross-functional technical programs for Amazon's Workforce Solutions, focusing on innovative products and services for hourly associates and contractors. Drive strategy, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and ensure technical alignment to enhance career mobility and operational agility.

Responsibilities

• Manage ambiguity and collaborate with stakeholders
• Manage the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with considerable impact
• Accountable for the overall strategy and driving teams inside and outside the organization to deliver
• Understand system limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and architectural decisions
• Ensure business and technical stakeholder needs are aligned and drive crisp decisions
• Make smart trade-offs between time, effort, and features
• Partner with customers and engineering teams to prioritize projects
• Assess development processes, test plans, and operations/maintenance requirements
• Streamline and/or eliminate excess process
• Influence teams to decouple from dependencies and eliminate architecture problems

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience, 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams, 3+ years of software development experience

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
