About This Role

This role delivers innovative consumer sauna products as a Sr Project Engineer in the Wellness Products Group. The position involves combining strong technical and communication skills with collaborative leadership to bring products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and advise on product specifications, including customer, regulatory, and technical requirements
  • Originate ideas for product improvements, enhanced features, and modifications
  • Assure functional acceptability through engineering tools, analysis, and testing, including prototyping, simulation, DFA, DFMEA, and qualification
  • Conduct engineering analysis and implement design modifications to improve manufacturability or cost optimization
  • Leverage existing construction technology to optimize designs for best performance and cost
  • Prepare detailed projects and/or technical plans for product development and/or improvement
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, support personnel, suppliers, and outside groups on product design, documentation, development, drafting, prototype construction, and testing
  • Utilize 3D CAD software (PTC Creo) for concept realization and design
  • Test and debug mechanical systems to prove out designs, establish product specifications, test plans, and design documentation
  • Lead product engineering tasks within the product development process from concept through production
  • Implement products into production according to established milestones
  • Clearly and effectively present results of efforts to project teams and/or management in English
  • Document and present experiences to share knowledge within and outside the department

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • A minimum of 4 years related work experience in a Mechanical Engineering position
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software
  • Ability to work with US and Global teams
  • Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team
  • Ability to independently test, analyze, and solve technical problems
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • A minimum of 4 years related work experience in a Mechanical Engineering position

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in PTC Creo
  • In-depth understanding of Six Sigma tools including FMEA, DOE, and process capability
  • Understanding of UL standards and certification processes
  • Experience with electrical and electromechanical components/systems
