The Sr. Supply & Demand Planner is responsible for developing and executing supply plans to ensure optimal customer delivery performance and implementing product supply strategies. This role monitors key metrics, identifies risks, drives corrective actions, and provides strategic recommendations by balancing business objectives with supply chain performance trade-offs. The planner builds strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Responsibilities
- Function as supply leader for Shower Doors, Bathroom Furniture, and Housewares, monitoring key delivery KPIs, resolving performance issues, and driving root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Develop and execute supply plans for assigned categories, aligning with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Serve as primary liaison between supply chain and demand teams to validate demand plans and assess medium- and long-term strategies.
- Maintain integrated supply plans to achieve service, cost, and inventory targets, supporting monthly S&OP processes.
- Analyze and recommend capacity adjustments across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons to ensure plan feasibility.
- Incorporate product transitions, new launches, discontinuations, and strategy changes into supply planning.
- Prepare for and participate in key S&OP and S&OE meetings, ensuring alignment on supply strategies and actions.
- Convert supply plans into shipments and revenue, ensuring logistics capacity supports execution.
- Evaluate supply trade-offs, communicate customer impact, and document agreed commercial actions with channel and category leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement through application of KBA and Industry standards, best practices, analytics, and technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or Industrial/Systems Engineering
- Five years of professional experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to lead multi-location/global projects with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or Industrial/Systems Engineering; MBA desirable
- Minimum five years of professional experience, manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
