Iron Foundry Operator - Core room Laempe SK1 SH3

About This Role

The Iron Foundry Operator will operate a Laempe core machine, performing all related functions including cleaning and manual operations, to manufacture high-quality cast iron products. This role ensures safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Laempe core machine as the primary position
• Learn all operations of running and cleaning the machine, including manual functions on the PLC panel to move parts
• Obtain PIV certification
• Obtain LOTO certification
• Perform lifting of approximately 50 pounds

Requirements

• Ability to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to perform essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation including but not limited to bending, lifting, and pushing weight

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice to Have

• 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience
