Sr. Program Analyst

About This Role

This Senior Program Analyst position supports the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) Research Directorate by providing R&D program planning, budget building, and acquisition support. The role focuses on financial execution of RDT&E and O&M funding, ensuring effective programmatic management for NGA Research.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technical Office Directors and Pods in forecasting, tracking, and updating commitments, obligations, and expenditure data for RDT&E and O&M funding
• Provide program review support, including annual Pod reviews and quarterly program reviews
• Assist in the preparation of the Program Build and CBJB/IPBS descriptions
• Employ knowledge of RDT&E budget activity codes and policies to assist Research in planning, programming, and budgeting activities
• Generate custom ad hoc financial reports for presentations, meetings, briefings, and other financial data requirements
• Coordinate with national program managers and facilitate technical exchange meetings
• Support Government lead in governance of international Government to Government relationships, including meeting support, material preparation, and briefing/paper drafting
• Attend staff meetings, technical reviews, working groups, kick-offs, VTCs/telecoms, and management reviews

Requirements

• Master's degree in a technical field
• Technical background and comfortable writing about technical capabilities
• Familiarity with PPBE process and program budget builds
• Familiarity with program execution
• Familiarity with MIPR
• Familiarity with SOW and Technology Transfer Agreements

• Prior or current experience working with a research and development organization or government agency
