About This Role

This role involves supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) on-site by acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data science to develop automated processes, architect data science solutions, and conduct analysis to solve complex problems for the DoD and Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with clients to understand data-related questions and issues
Determine best methods and approaches to create data-driven solutions
Lead/assist in the development of automated processes and workflows
Architect data science solutions
Conduct analysis using available tools and identifying patterns
Work with large structured/unstructured data in a modeling and analytical environment
Design solutions and refine pre-existing processes
Translate roadmap features into components/tasks, estimate timelines, and identify resources
Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships and trends
Apply applied mathematics, programming skills, and analytical techniques to provide impactful insights
Research and implement optimization models, strategies, and methods for data management
Apply big data analytic tools to deliver impactful insights and assessments
Conduct peer reviews to improve quality of workflows, procedures, and methodologies
Mentor team members to increase their technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

Master's degree in Data Science or related technical field
Experience developing and working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)
Demonstrated experience of advanced programming techniques using HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects, Python, Model Builder, Oracle, SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE, ArcIMS, .NET, C++, and/or JAVA
Experience building and maintaining databases of GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data
Data Visualization Experience (Matrix Analytics, Network Analytics, Graphing Data)
TS/SCI security clearance
