Sr. Network Engineer

About This Role

This role involves designing and implementing datacenter fabric, security architectures with a focus on Zero Trust, and SDN solutions to support multi-tenant Kubernetes environments. The Senior Network Engineer will ensure network compliance with HIPAA and FedRAMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Design datacenter fabric, including core, aggregation, and Top-of-Rack (TOR) layers using Dell OS10, Arista, or Cisco
• Implement enterprise firewalls (Sophos XGS, Palo Alto) with a heavy focus on Zero Trust and micro-segmentation
• Deploy SDN solutions (Cilium, VXLAN overlays) to support multi-tenant K8s environments
• Ensure all network packet movements meet HIPAA and FedRAMP standards

Requirements

• 7-10+ years in Enterprise Networking
• Deep knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MC-LAG, and jumbo frame optimization
• Proven experience with IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC (802.1x/RADIUS) integrated with SSO
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible/Python) and CNI plugins (Cilium/Calico)
• Comfortable working in secure, non-public cloud environments and managing migration from Azure to Private Cloud

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in Enterprise Networking with deep knowledge across OSI layers
