This role involves working on civil engineering projects for state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities within the Advanced Manufacturing group. You will be responsible for land/site development, grading plans, and earthwork/drainage calculations, while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform site development, site master planning and site selection studies
- Route underground utilities and plan site space
- Conduct hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems
- Analyze and design gravitational wastewater systems
- Prepare final grading plans, including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing
- Provide erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans.
- Support permit approval processes, researching and adhering to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
- Perform stormwater analysis and modeling using software applications like StormCAD and CivilStorm
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of engineering experience
- Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large scale industrial developments
- Demonstrated experience with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8 or more years of engineering experience, including extensive related project experience
Nice to Have
- PE certification
- Bluebeam experience
- Experience using Navisworks
