About This Role

This role is for a CSA Senior Quality Professional to work in construction management in the Raleigh, NC area, focusing on quality assurance and quality control for state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. The professional will ensure compliance with quality plans and inspection test plans for various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate field quality issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Work with discipline subcontractors to ensure that contractor quality plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) are in place and in compliance with site specific requirements
  • Lead contractor quality audits on-site and in fabrication facilities
  • Lead the effort to ensure ITPs and inspection and test forms (Test Packs) are understood by the contractor and construction management team, acted on and completed as required in a timely fashion, with all Test Packs completed in compliance with ITPs
  • Assist in developing Construction Turn Over Package requirements
  • Provide on-site assistance, monitoring and visually inspecting material at receipt and before installation
  • Ensure Nonconformities are captured in Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and approved corrective actions are implemented

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience working in the Industrial Construction Field, with applicable QA/QC experience
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents, and drawings
  • Proficiency in Office 365 platforms such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or applicable on-the-job experience
  • 10 years of experience working in the Industrial Construction Field, with applicable QA/QC experience

  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Adaptability
  • Life Sciences/Pharma construction experience
  • Certified technical training
