This Senior Civil Engineer will join the Advanced Manufacturing group at Jacobs, focusing on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. The role involves designing and analyzing civil aspects of land/site development, preparing grading plans, and performing earthwork and stormwater calculations.
Responsibilities
- Perform site development, site master planning and site selection
- Route underground utilities and plan site space
- Conduct hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems
- Analyze and design gravitational wastewater systems
- Perform final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing
- Provide erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans
- Support permit approval and research local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
- Perform stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of engineering experience, including industrial developments
- Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large scale industrial developments
- Demonstrated experience with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8 or more years of engineering experience, including extensive related project experience
Nice to Have
- PE certification
- Bluebeam experience
- Navisworks experience
