Sr. Business Process Expert

About This Role

This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes for VSE Aviation's ERP system to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across various departments. It involves optimizing inventory, managing contracts, and ensuring smooth operations from sales orders to accounting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure understanding and adherence to ERP system processes including Inventory Management, Cycle Counts, Company Management, Contract Management, Imaging, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Manufacturing Orders, Publications, Tooling, Repair Orders, Work Orders, Invoicing, and Shipping Management.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design and develop new business processes that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Utilize process modeling tools and techniques to document current and future state processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Finance, Operations) to understand business needs and requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather process information and foster collaboration.
• Brovide training for new associates and refresher training as required.
• Test changes made to the ERP system as requested.
• Maintain SOX Reporting.
• Actively follow-up on issues list and seek for solutions.
• Maintain and resolved IT Help Desk Tickets.
