Process Review Technician

About This Role

This role is responsible for the meticulous review of aircraft components and related documentation to ensure all specified work is accurately completed according to aviation standards and regulations. The Process Review Technician plays a critical role in maintaining compliance and quality assurance in the manufacturing and repair process.

Responsibilities

• Review all documentation for correctness before transferring components to the next stage
• Identify and communicate exceptions or discrepancies in documentation or component compliance to responsible technicians
• Ensure technicians have accurately documented all work performed, including signoffs, part usage, and procedural notes
• Utilize the ERP system to review customer purchase orders and ensure components are completed per customer request
• Input data into ERP for specific OEMs
• Review performed service bulletins to ensure proper completion and documentation
• Complete the Pre-Final Inspection process as needed
• Coordinate component priority level for processing
• Communicate priority challenges to the Production Coordinator and Final Inspection team
• Preserve components in accordance with the component maintenance manual
• Install safety wire and seals on components after final function test
• Install safety cable on components after final function test
• Install shipping caps and plugs onto components
• Document maintenance records of all work performed

Requirements

• Ability to review and verify aviation component documentation
• Proficiency in identifying and communicating discrepancies
• Knowledge of documenting work performed including signoffs and part usage
• Ability to utilize ERP systems for purchase order review and data input
• Familiarity with service bulletins and their documentation
• Experience with pre-final inspection processes
• Knowledge of component preservation techniques
• Aptitude for installing safety wire, seals, safety cable, shipping caps, and plugs
• Capability to document maintenance records
