Speech Language Pathologist

About This Role

Provide essential speech-language services to K-12 students in a full-time, contract position within the Anchorage School District, focusing primarily on elementary sites. This role involves delivering individualized therapy, collaborating with educators, and maintaining compliance documentation to support student communication needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to support student communication needs
• Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate speech goals within the classroom environment
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with relevant standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans
• Manage caseloads efficiently
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel

Requirements

• Certification and licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, specific to Alaska requirements
• Valid SLP CCC credential or appropriate SLP-School certification

Nice to Have

• Experience working within school settings, preferably with K-12 students
