Speech Language Pathologist

About This Role

Support high school students by providing direct speech and language therapy, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in San Jose, CA. This role contributes to improving adolescent communication skills and academic success.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to high school students
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and progress evaluations
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with school policies

Requirements

• Valid SLP certification/license
• Proven experience managing a high school caseload
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly found in adolescent populations
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and compliance requirements
