Speech-Language Pathologist

About This Role

Provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to K-8 students in a Minneapolis school setting, focusing on individualized therapy for communication development. This part-time role supports a manageable caseload of approximately 12 students.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy to students in grades K-8
• Support a caseload of around 12 children
• Deliver therapy sessions approximately 20 minutes in length, typically two times per week for most students, with some receiving weekly sessions
• Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and support communication goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plan (IEP) development

Requirements

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential appropriate for Minnesota schools
• Experience providing therapy to school-aged children, particularly in K-8 settings
• Ability to adapt therapy modalities to meet diverse student needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff

Qualifications
