Speech Language Pathologist

About This Role

Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with diverse communication needs within a public school setting in Hiawatha, KS. This role involves collaborating with a speech team to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with a team of SLPs to address the individual needs of students with varied speech and language disorders
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
• Conduct assessments, progress tracking, and documentation in compliance with school guidelines
• Communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes

Requirements

• Valid SLP License
• Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting
• Strong ability to manage caseloads involving students with significant speech and language needs
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
