Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

About This Role

Provide specialized speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a contract position in Warner Robins, GA. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating various speech, language, and communication disorders among students.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students in grades K through 12.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress.
• Provide guidance and support to classroom teachers regarding communication strategies and accommodations.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with school-aged children, specifically grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
• Commitment to student-centered care and educational support
