About This Role

This role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled speech-language therapy in a home setting for patients with varying impairments. The position involves evaluating and treating individuals to enhance their communication and swallowing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting under the care of an attending physician
• Evaluate and treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, and voice disorders
• Work with patients requiring alternative or augmentative communication
• Often work with patients who have experienced a stroke and those with progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license
• Automobile liability insurance
• Dependable transportation in good working condition
• Ability to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment
