Speech-Language Pathologist

About This Role

This role involves providing speech-language pathology services as part of an in-house therapy team, specifically working with patients at Greater Southside Health & Rehabilitation in Des Moines, IA. The therapist will focus on expanding and implementing therapy programming for various conditions including cognition, dysphagia, stroke, neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory/COVID recovery.

Responsibilities

• Join the in-house therapy crew as a PRN SLP at Greater Southside Health & Rehabilitation
• Help expand therapy programming to include Abilities Care (cognition), ACP programs, Big and Loud, Think Thin/dysphagia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory/COVID recovery programs
• Create and implement additional programs to best meet the needs of the patients
• Collaborate with all team members in every department for patient care and clinical support
• Utilize clinical systems and specialty programs to support the patient population
