About This Role

This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged students. The Speech Language Pathologist will also develop individualized education plans and collaborate with school staff and parents to support student communication goals.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in the state of FL (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Nice to Have

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with school-aged children
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
