Speech Language Pathologist

About This Role

The Speech Language Pathologist provides compassionate and quality rehabilitation services to residents under the directive of a physician and in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team. They also document therapy services and write progress notes according to Medicare Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and quality rehabilitation services to residents under physician directive
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team
• Communicate treatment plan information to nursing and other personnel to assure a team approach
• Document therapy services and write progress notes in accordance with Medicare Regulations
• Travel within a 30-mile radius to provide therapy coverage when census is low (mileage/time reimbursed)

Requirements

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school
• Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility preferred but not required.
