Specialist, Systems Engineer - Missile Warning and Missile Tracking

About This Role

L3Harris is seeking experienced systems engineers to deliver a cutting-edge satellite ground operations system for Resilient Missile Warning and Missile Tracking (RMWT) and Ground Management and Integration (GMI) programs. These roles require expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT), and general systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Experience with Systems Engineering
• Experience with MBSE Engineering
• Experience with Systems Engineering Integration and Test
• Coordinate with integrated product team leaders to identify needs, deliver quality products and develop solutions
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to address identified issues, risks and programmatic/technical challenges
• Perform requirements decomposition to ensure detailed, structured, and traceable requirements for complex systems
• Conduct stakeholder management to effectively communicate, coordinate, and align project goals with diverse stakeholder needs

Requirements

• Systems Engineering experience
• MBSE Engineering experience
• Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) experience
• Active SECRET security clearance, or ability to obtain TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 2 years with a Graduate Degree, or 8 years in lieu of a degree.
