Provide technical and maintenance support on airframe, avionics systems, and aircraft inspections, ensuring operational readiness and troubleshooting equipment failures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in ground handling of aircraft including pre-flight and post-flight checkout
- Troubleshoot mission equipment failures
- Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action
- Assist in defining necessary equipment and technical data for Primary Mission Support Kits
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain performance and maintenance records
- Provide aircraft reconfiguration assistance for specific mission requirements
- Deploy with aircraft to Depot Maintenance facility for technical support and maintenance assistance
- Review maintenance bulletins for quality and accuracy using Maintenance Information Systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years of experience with a variety of technical and maintenance support on airframe, avionics systems, and inspections on aircraft
- Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
- Active Secret clearance (updated in the last 5 years)
- U.S. Citizen
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience with technical and maintenance support on airframe, avionics systems, and aircraft inspections, or 8+ years in lieu of a degree, or 2+ years with a Graduate Degree
Nice to Have
- Boeing 757 experience
- Boeing Narrow Body Aircraft / RB211 engine experience
