About This Role

Design and deliver learning experiences for students, implementing evidence-based instructional practices and technology. Evaluate student progress, make adjustments, and collaborate with colleagues to improve learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning experiences for students in a grade level and/or content area
• Organize and facilitate the learning process utilizing a variety of evidence-based instructional practices and applicable technology
• Participate in a community of learning to develop and refine knowledge and skills for student success
• Consistently evaluate student progress, make appropriate adjustments, and communicate student progress
• Regularly collaborate, reflect, and grow to improve learning opportunities for students
• Assess the progress of students regularly and provide reports as required
• Comply with applicable state and federal laws, district policies, and location requirements
• Develop and implement lessons that connect to various content areas and disciplines
• Engage students as individuals, including those with diverse needs and interests, by adapting teaching methods
• Establish a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's (Baccalaureate) degree
• Meets subject, grade level, and/or content area qualifications
• Colorado Department of Education Teacher License (Initial or Professional)
