Manage office strategies and work environment solutions, coordinating facilities utilization including renovations, layouts, and equipment updates. Ensure compliance with ergonomic, OSHA, and EPA requirements for the professional office environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with office interior design, layouts, furniture purchases, and overall coordination efforts.
- Plan and set up new or renovated areas according to client standards for furniture appearance and finishes.
- Monitor and coordinate maintenance and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with schedules and project scope.
- Coordinate with Safety and other departments to facilitate and follow ergonomic practices, including follow-up audits.
- Utilize Computer Aided Layout and Planning Systems, with required experience in AutoCAD.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, federal, state, and local regulations during project activities.
- Serve as the primary interface with sites and client disciplines to understand organizational direction and changing workplace needs.
- Forecast space requirements and develop space needs based on business and market conditions.
- Facilitate discussions and programming of space requirements with organizational and functional units.
- Execute change management processes for unplanned and special project requests and ensure occupancy plans are aligned with strategies.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Architecture / Interior design or equivalent education
- 3–5+ years in space planning, interior design, or corporate real estate
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, desktop publishing, and CAD software (MS Office Suite, MS Project, PowerPoint & Excel, AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Experience with project management and coordination
- Strong analytical, communication, and spatial visualization skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Architecture / Interior design or equivalent education.
- 3–5+ years in space planning, interior design, or corporate real estate.
