Sourcing Specialist

About This Role

This Sourcing Specialist role involves creating and managing purchase orders, resolving issues, and assisting with supply chain process improvements. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, and maintaining accurate records to support audits and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders (POs)
• Manage and maintain existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution
• Identify past due purchase orders
• Perform data cleanup and validation activities
• Prepare the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for the transition to GEP
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, finance, and supplier teams to ensure smooth purchasing workflows
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting
• Assist with process improvements and standardization efforts across the supply chain function

Requirements

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Comfortable working with ERP, or procurement systems

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms
