Sourcing Manager

About This Role

This Sourcing Manager role will lead direct and indirect sourcing, with a strong focus on international suppliers and import execution into the U.S. They will work with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure uninterrupted material flow, primarily for raw materials in consumer and industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing across raw materials, MRO, and indirect spend categories
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and supply continuity
• Manage international suppliers and support compliant, cost-effective imports into the U.S.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships using performance metrics and scorecards
• Partner with supply chain, operations, finance, logistics, and customs brokers to resolve issues and prevent disruptions
• Identify alternate sources and mitigate supply risk
• Maintain accurate supplier master data to support ERP, planning, and import compliance
• Actively use ERP systems to support sourcing decisions and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing experience with international supplier exposure
• Experience sourcing from regions such as India, China, South Korea or other global markets
• Working knowledge of import processes, customs clearance, and international freight
• ERP experience and comfort managing transactional detail
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of sourcing experience

Nice to Have

• Experience sourcing pigments, chemicals, colorants, dyes, additives
