Sourcing Manager

About This Role

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with the customer's vision and goals, driving change management for new sourcing methodologies, and negotiating favorable contractual terms to manage risk effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to align sourcing priorities, conduct market research, and mitigate issues
• Prepare, issue, and manage RFPs/RFIs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Identify and work collaboratively with client and stakeholder groups to achieve objectives and ensure alignment with strategy
• Drive partner satisfaction by understanding needs and integrating partners into procurement processes
• Develop business unit requirements and Statement of Works with cross-functional teams
• Manage a competitive RFP process with standardized language and evaluation criteria
• Participate in collaborative handoffs with PVM staff to ensure effectively negotiated contracts
• Administer Non-disclosure agreements, Risk Assessments, and supplier due diligence
• Support P&VM contracts teams in negotiating MSAs and other agreements
• Analyze business unit requirements for leveraging opportunities and acquisition planning
• Lead source selection activities of pre-qualified vendors, including market analysis

Requirements

• Significant experience in preparing and reviewing RFPs, RFIs, SOWs
• Significant experience in IT strategic sourcing, category management, subcontracts management or procurement
• Significant experience in managing a formalized process of selecting, monitoring and evaluating IT vendors/vendor contracts
• Advanced skill translating business goals and objectives into IT capabilities
• Significant experience developing, negotiating, and managing service level agreements
• Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
• Advanced skill resolving conflicting requests and managing multiple priorities
• Advanced skill communicating complex processes to senior leadership, with strong presentations skills
• Advanced skill in relationship building, negotiation and facilitation
• Strong Data Analytics and data manipulation skills
• Significant experience with change management and organizational transformation
• Working knowledge of procedures or strategic sourcing experience in financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 7+ years procurement experience
