As a Sourcing and Procurement Senior Consultant at Deloitte, you will advise clients on Supply Chain and Operations strategy, implementing next-generation solutions. You will manage solution delivery, apply deep analytical and problem-solving skills, and work with advanced eProcurement technologies to transform clients' sourcing and procurement functions into strategic partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage solution delivery through process design, data analytics, solution configuration, deployment, establishing performance metrics and new policies, testing, and knowledge management.
- Apply deep analytical, technical, and complex problem-solving skills, including optimization methods and financial computations.
- Work with advanced eProcurement technology solutions and tools such as Coupa, Ariba, and iValua.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and leading-edge practices.
- Lead teams and synthesize findings into actionable insights and robust sourcing strategies.
- Develop complex total cost of ownership models and present findings and recommendations to client executives.
- Build, maintain, and manage relationships with key client stakeholders, delegating action to teams to address escalated issues to ensure client satisfaction.
- Act as a sourcing subject matter expert, demonstrating a deep understanding of category cost drivers and market intelligence.
- Work with clients and suppliers to identify continuous cost improvement opportunities.
- Assess and/or guide the assessment of large datasets to discover meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships.
- Develop advanced analytics and/or cognitive approaches to generate insights and improve supply chain performance.
Requirements
- 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Sourcing and Procurement experience from strategy through implementation
- Team lead experience
- Experience with Spend analytics, RFx and Strategic Sourcing execution, category management, operational procurement, demand management and vendor/supplier management
- Project management experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
