Sourcing and Procurement Senior Consultant

About This Role

A Senior Consultant in Sourcing and Procurement helps clients transform their strategic sourcing and procurement functions, acting as a strategic partner to their businesses. This role involves advising on savings areas, enabling digital transformation through technology, and working on supply chain and operations strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage solution delivery through process design, data analytics, solution configuration, deployment, establishing performance metrics and new policies, testing, and knowledge management
• Apply deep analytical, technical, and complex problem-solving skills, including optimization methods and financial computations
• Work with advanced eProcurement technology solutions and tools
• Stay up to date on industry trends and leading-edge practices
• Lead teams
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights and robust sourcing strategies
• Develop complex total cost of ownership models
• Present findings and recommendations to client executives
• Build, maintain, and manage relationships with key client stakeholders and delegate action to teams to address escalated issues to ensure client satisfaction
• Act as sourcing subject matter expert and show a deep understanding of category cost drivers and market intelligence
• Work with clients and suppliers to identify continuous cost improvement opportunities
• Assess and/or guide the assessment of large datasets to discover meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships
• Develop advanced analytics and/or cognitive approaches to generate insights and improve supply chain performance

Requirements

• 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Sourcing and Procurement experience from strategy through implementation
• Team lead experience
• Experience with Spend analytics, RFx and Strategic Sourcing execution, category management, operational procurement, demand management and vendor/supplier management
• Project management experience
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
