Sourcing and Procurement Senior Consultant

About This Role

As a Sourcing and Procurement Senior Consultant at Deloitte, you will help clients transform their Strategic Sourcing & Procurement functions into strategic partners for their businesses. You will manage solution delivery, apply deep analytical and problem-solving skills, and work with advanced eProcurement technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage solution delivery through process design, data analytics, solution configuration, deployment, establishing performance metrics and new policies, testing, and knowledge management.
• Apply deep analytical, technical, and complex problem-solving skills, including optimization methods and financial computations.
• Work with advanced eProcurement technology solutions and tools such as Coupa, Ariba, and iValua.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and leading-edge practices.
• Lead teams and synthesize findings into actionable insights and robust sourcing strategies.
• Develop complex total cost of ownership models and present findings and recommendations to client executives.
• Build, maintain, and manage relationships with key client stakeholders and delegate action to teams.
• Act as a sourcing subject matter expert with deep understanding of category cost drivers and market intelligence.
• Work with clients and suppliers to identify continuous cost improvement opportunities.
• Assess and/or guide the assessment of large datasets to discover meaningful patterns, trends and relationships.

Requirements

• 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Sourcing and Procurement experience from strategy through implementation
• Team lead experience
• Experience with Spend analytics, RFx and Strategic Sourcing execution, category management, operational procurement, demand management and vendor/supplier management
• Project management experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
