Perform prescribed breast and general ultrasound procedures with independent judgment, ensuring optimal patient care and producing high-quality images. Educate patients, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform prescribed procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders
- Educate patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed
- Produce high quality images and prepare/present them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements
- Troubleshoot equipment and notify appropriate personnel to maintain performance
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors
- Assure the efficient operation of workflow of the department
- Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and material
Requirements
- National certification (ARDMS or CCI)
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years of clinical experience
- Effective communication skills
- Human relations skills
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of clinical knowledge/experience
