Solutions Architect (Reinsurance)

About This Role

Design and implement robust, scalable solutions for a leading Reinsurance carrier, focusing on application architecture, integration patterns, and emerging technologies like AI/Generative AI. This role involves hands-on technical expertise and collaboration across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application and integration architectures that support business needs
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including solution design and technical specifications
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand vision and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Provide hands-on coding expertise in .NET and C# for proof-of-concepts and solution components
• Architect and optimize General Ledger functions and related business layers
• Implement Azure API Management (APIM) and integration architecture solutions
• Utilize Azure App Insights for monitoring and performance optimization
• Support data center migration initiatives, ensuring smooth transition of applications and business processes
• Drive data architecture and data governance strategies
• Explore and build Generative AI use cases, leveraging LLMs (Large Language Models) for business innovation
• Ensure compliance with architecture patterns and best practices
• Act as a strategic advisor, aligning technology solutions with organizational vision

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in .NET and C# development
• Experience with application architecture and layered business systems
• Deep understanding of architecture patterns and best practices
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including APIM, Integration Architecture, and App Insights
• Knowledge of data architecture and data governance principles
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including Generative AI and LLMs
• Ability to understand and align with organizational vision and strategy
• Experience working with General Ledger functions and financial systems
