About This Role

As a Solutions Architect Manager, you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise-level web-based applications, supporting Deloitte's tax strategy by integrating digital technology into global tax business operations. You will define application architecture options and technical roadmaps, ensuring high resiliency standards and implementing complex business logic to deliver secure and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, evaluate requirements, determine priorities, and develop application architecture options and technical roadmaps.
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve architecture to meet and exceed resiliency standards in collaboration with the Architecture team.
  • Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms, staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
  • Support the team in implementing complex business logic and algorithms.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of software development projects, daily SCRUM calls, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance with regulations to protect data.
  • Implement standards, guidelines, and metrics to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and deliver business value.
  • Work across delivery teams and vendors to ensure adherence to overall delivery standards and guidelines, and help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate product-related risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, working closely with DevOps teams for seamless deployment and operation.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback, coaching the team on best coding practices and development tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture and design decisions.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model (2-3 days in office/week)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in architecture design and implementation
  • Strong hands-on experience on C#, SQL Server, OOPS Concepts, Micro Services Architecture
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience on .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, RestAPI, microservices, Azure, Applying Design Patterns, Agile
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
  • One of the specified active accreditations/certifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecture design and implementation with strong hands-on experience on C#, SQL Server, OOPS Concepts, Micro Services Architecture.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in computer science or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in software development with a focus on distributed computing
  • Knowledge on Angular, Mongo DB, NPM and Azure DevOps Build/Release configuration
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures
  • Understanding of network protocols and security measures
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of backend services
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies
  • Excellent attention to detail with demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong listening, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
