This Solutions Architect role focuses on accelerating development, enhancing quality, and optimizing operations by championing DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native practices, while also fostering innovation and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies within the software engineering domain.
Responsibilities
- Improve development velocity, quality, and operational excellence
- Champion DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native practices
- Encourage innovation and adoption of new technologies
- Apply scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems
- Develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge
- Exercise original thought and judgement in work
- Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers
- Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders
Requirements
- 8 years of software engineering experience
- 3 years managing engineering teams
- Strong hands-on background in Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or any modern stack
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of system design, microservices, APIs, and databases
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8 years of software engineering experience and 3 years managing engineering teams
