About This Role

This Solutions Architect role focuses on accelerating development, enhancing quality, and optimizing operations by championing DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native practices, while also fostering innovation and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies within the software engineering domain.

Responsibilities

• Improve development velocity, quality, and operational excellence
• Champion DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native practices
• Encourage innovation and adoption of new technologies
• Apply scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems
• Develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge
• Exercise original thought and judgement in work
• Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers
• Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders

Requirements

• 8 years of software engineering experience
• 3 years managing engineering teams
• Strong hands-on background in Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or any modern stack
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of system design, microservices, APIs, and databases
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8 years of software engineering experience and 3 years managing engineering teams
