Solution Engineer

About This Role

This Solution Engineer role focuses on solving complex customer problems for Snowflake, contributing to sales cycles by providing compelling demonstrations and supporting Proof of Concepts. The role involves positioning Snowflake's technology for AI adoption and modernizing customers' data stacks.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, focusing on how Snowflake serves as the engine for rapid AI innovation
• Work hands-on with prospects to demonstrate the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle
• Maintain a deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and competitive technologies
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share field insights on customer data platform and activation requirements

Requirements

• Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences
• Broad range of experience within Large-scale Database/Data Warehouse technology, ETL, and modern AI/ML frameworks
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
• Ability to connect customer's specific business problems to Snowflake’s AI and Data Cloud solutions

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Proven success in positioning data solutions to enable rapid AI adoption

Nice to Have

• Python or R experience for data science
