As a ServiceNow HRSD Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions, with a particular focus on HR workflows, case management, and employee service centers for Deloitte's business investments. You will leverage your deep expertise in ServiceNow and the HRSD module to design, configure, and deploy high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. This role involves technical leadership, engineering craftsmanship, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver lean, supportable, and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Embrace and drive a culture of accountability for customer and business outcomes, developing solutions that solve complex HR problems with valuable outcomes.
- Serve as the technical advocate for ServiceNow HRSD solutions, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with business and customer goals, responsible for solution architecture blueprints and designs.
- Be an individual contributor passionate about engineering designs and technical feasibility, being hands-on with design and configuration, and contributing to team velocity.
- Develop lean engineering solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation to solve customer needs and engage with customers and product teams for architectural solutions.
- Utilize a leaning-forward approach to navigate complexity and uncertainty, delivering lean, supportable, and maintainable solutions incrementally and iteratively.
- Work collaboratively with empowered, cross-functional teams including product management, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security.
- Leverage deep expertise in modern software engineering practices including OOD/OOP, Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD to optimize solutioning and product delivery.
- Quickly acquire domain-specific knowledge relevant to business or ServiceNow modules, translating business/user needs into technical requirements and designs.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, articulating complex technical concepts clearly and inspiring and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across all organizational levels, building constructive relationships and fostering co-creation.
- Responsible for solution architecture blueprints, high-level architecture designs, and integration architecture into the technical landscape and technology stack.
- Review implementations, actively drive technology debt reduction, and help drive engineering quality.
- Troubleshoot and identify bottlenecks, establish RCA for system performance issues, and use Health Scan Data and Instance Observer to improve overall system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline
- Excellent software engineering and product architecture/design foundation with deep understanding of BCD, diagrams, OOP/OOD, data-structures, algorithms, and code instrumentations.
- 10+ years proven experience with ServiceNow HRSD module implementation and optimization.
- ServiceNow Certification Implementation Specialist - HRSD
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Expert knowledge in HR processes and best practices, designing HRSD workflows, case management, and employee service centers.
- Expert knowledge in integration techniques and tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO), integration with SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow integration Hub, Data Replication/Data Lake for ServiceNow using ETL tools, and MID Server Architecture.
- Proficiency in data modeling/migration/integration, data privacy, security regulations, CSDM, SQL stored procedures and indexing, performance analytics, and designing dashboards/reports.
- In-depth knowledge of performance tuning in ServiceNow, troubleshooting bottlenecks, establishing RCA for system performance issues, and using Health Scan Data/Instance Observer.
- Deep understanding of methodologies & tools like XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, SonarQube.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to handle diverse situations, complex projects, and changing priorities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years proven experience with ServiceNow, specifically in implementing and optimizing the HRSD module.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (e.g., MS)
- Experience with cloud-native engineering, using FaaS/PaaS/micro-services on cloud hyper-scalers like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- 3+ years of experience with AI/ML and GenAI.
