This role involves implementing and optimizing Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions with a focus on HR workflows, case management, and employee service centers within ServiceNow. The Solution Architect will leverage deep expertise in ServiceNow HRSD to custom-design, configure, and deploy high-quality, outcome-focused solutions for clients. This position plays a critical part in delighting users and driving tangible business value for Deloitte's investments.
Responsibilities
- Embrace and drive a culture of accountability for customer and business outcomes, developing solutions that solve complex HR problems with valuable outcomes
- Serve as the technical advocate for ServiceNow HRSD solutions, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with business and customer goals
- Be responsible for solution architecture blueprints, high-level architecture designs, and integration architecture into the technical landscape and technology stack
- Focus on engineering designs and technical feasibility of solutions, being hands-on with design and configuration, contributing to team velocity
- Actively engage with engineers during sprints to ensure architecture is understood and can be implemented, helping resolve any technical issues through to production operations
- Review implementations, actively drive technology debt reduction, and help drive engineering quality
- Develop lean engineering solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation to solve customer needs and deliver the right architectural solution at the right time
- Utilize an incremental and iterative delivery mindset, favoring action and evidence over extensive planning to deliver lean, supportable, and maintainable solutions
- Work collaboratively with empowered, cross-functional teams including product management, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security
- Acquire domain-specific knowledge, translate business/user needs and UX/UI designs into technical requirements, and navigate enterprise functions to drive product value
- Articulate complex technical concepts clearly, influencing stakeholders at all levels with well-structured arguments and aligning technical solutions with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline
- Excellent software engineering and product architecture/design foundation (OOD/OOP, data-structures, algorithms, code instrumentations)
- 10+ years proven experience with ServiceNow, specifically in implementing and optimizing the HRSD module
- Expert knowledge in HR processes and best practices
- Expert knowledge in designing HRSD workflows, case management, and employee service centers
- Expert knowledge in integration techniques and tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO)
- Expert knowledge in integration with SAP SuccessFactors
- Expert knowledge in ServiceNow integration Hub
- Expert knowledge in setting up Data Replication and/or Data Lake for ServiceNow using ETL tools like SNOW Mirror/Perspectium
- Expert knowledge in MID Server Architecture
- Proficiency in data modeling/migration/integration
- Proficiency in data privacy and security regulations
- Proficiency in Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
- Proficiency in SQL stored procedures and indexing
- Proficiency in performance analytics, and designing dashboards and reports
- In-depth knowledge of performance tuning in ServiceNow, ability to troubleshoot and identify bottlenecks
- Experience to establish RCA for system performance issues
- Experience in using Health Scan Data and Instance Observer to improve overall system performance
- Deep understanding of methodologies & tools like XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, SonarQube
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years proven experience with ServiceNow, specifically in implementing and optimizing the HRSD module
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (e.g., MS)
- 3+ years of experience with AI/ML and GenAI
- Experience with cloud-native engineering, using FaaS/PaaS/micro-services on cloud hyper-scalers like Azure, AWS, and GCP
