Software Test Engineer Internship

About This Role

This Software Test Engineer Internship supports the testing of ILD products by executing test cases, maintaining documentation, and ensuring new features function correctly. The intern will collaborate with the team, apply testing best practices, and help improve testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Migrate ILD test artifacts into Symetra's TCM tool
• Employ automated or manual testing approaches for new and updated ILD product functionality
• Use existing regression capabilities to execute repeatable test cases and identify automation opportunities
• Set up and leverage Playwright or Selenium to automate repetitive test cases
• Create and maintain test artifacts, adopting ILD testing standards
• Share knowledge of applying ILD testing standards to ensure sustainability and reusability
• Participate actively in Testing SIG
• Participate in test automation strategy for non-web solutions
