About This Role

Assist the Advanced Facilities team in Portland, OR with software, systems, and network engineering tasks as a Software Engineering Intern. This role involves contributing to the requirements, design, implementation, integration, and support of software tools, primarily cloud-based databases, to aid in facility design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software, systems, and network engineering tasks
• Contribute to requirements, design, implementation, integration, and support of software tools
• Navigate fluid functional requirements throughout the project’s life cycle
• Play a crucial part in configuration management, product build, deployment, and seamless integration of work items from remote development teams
• Support a multidisciplinary team of engineers, sciences and other technical staff under guidance of Professional Engineers
• Deliver and complete challenging and engaging projects
• Demonstrate ability to progress from basic work assignments to more complicated and involved projects

Requirements

• Current participation in the MECOP Co-op Program
• Enrolled in a degree-seeking program in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other closely related field

Qualifications

• Degree-seeking program in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other closely related field
• Previous relevant software engineering, programming, or digital delivery related internship experience is a plus

• 3.0 GPA
