Shift Lead - Cosmetologist / Hair Stylist

About This Role

Lead daily operations and client experience at a Drybar location, ensuring high standards for hair styling services and team management. This role focuses on delivering exceptional blowouts and maintaining salon efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop staff including Bartenders & Stylists
• Lead client experience from check-in to check-out, upholding Drybar standards
• Assign clients to stylists and delegate tasks to Bartenders and Stylists
• Execute meal period and break schedule for team members
• Monitor shop inventory, regularly checking back bar and retail supplies
• Place orders when needed to meet supply level standards
• Train new bartenders on Booker and Drybar’s 10 core values
• Ensure Stylists are completing blowouts in under 45 minutes
• Implement problem-solving strategies and maintain awareness
• Ensure all company procedures, policies, federal, state, and local regulations are followed

Requirements

• Current and valid cosmetology license
• Shampoo, blow-dry, and amazing hair styling & finishing skills
• Ability to do a blowout in under 45 minutes
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment and dedication to customer service
