The ServiceNow Platform Architect - Manager will serve as the technical architecture authority for Deloitte's Cyber team, designing end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across multiple client engagements, focusing on cyber and risk modules. This role involves owning solution design from pre-sales through delivery, creating architecture blueprints, defining integration strategies, and providing architectural governance. The architect will support multiple engagements simultaneously and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for ServiceNow cyber and risk implementations, from initial discovery through production deployment and transition to operations
- Design and document comprehensive technical architecture including platform configuration strategy, data architecture, integration patterns, security models, and scalability considerations
- Lead pre-sales technical efforts including solution scoping, architecture presentations, technical due diligence, level-of-effort estimation, and proposal development
- Support multiple concurrent engagements as the architecture authority, providing design guidance, conducting architecture reviews, and resolving complex technical decisions
- Architect cross-module solutions that span IRM, SecOps, ITOM, ITAM, and TPRM, ensuring cohesive data flows, shared services, and consistent governance
- Design complex integration architectures between ServiceNow and enterprise security ecosystems
- Define CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) architecture strategies that support service-aware security and risk operations
- Establish and enforce platform governance standards including development best practices, update set strategies, scoped application design, instance architecture, and environment management
- Evaluate and recommend adoption strategies for emerging ServiceNow capabilities including Next Experience UI Framework, Now Assist, and GenAI features
- Present architecture strategies and design decisions to client executive stakeholders (CIO, CRO, CISO) and translate technical concepts into business-aligned language
- Mentor and develop Senior Consultants and Consultants on architecture thinking, solution design patterns, and ServiceNow platform best practices
- Contribute to practice development including reusable architecture patterns, reference architectures, delivery accelerators, and technical point-of-view documents
- Collaborate with Deloitte practice leadership on capability building, go-to-market strategy, and technical differentiation in the ServiceNow security and risk market
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 6+ years of experience delivering ServiceNow solutions in a client-facing consulting or professional services role
- 5+ years of experience serving as a solution architect or technical lead on ServiceNow implementation projects
- 5+ years of experience demonstrated experience architecting solutions across multiple ServiceNow security and risk modules: IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Security Operations (SecOps), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- 5+ years of experience designing and documenting end-to-end solution architectures including data models, integration patterns, security frameworks, and platform governance strategies
- 5+ years of designing complex integration architectures between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and orchestration
- Deep understanding of CMDB architecture and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) design principles
- 5+ years of experience leading pre-sales technical activities including solution scoping, architecture presentations, estimation, and proposal development
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to support multiple concurrent engagements as an architecture authority
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting technical strategies to C-level stakeholders
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Two or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS-RC, CIS-SIR, CIS-VR, CIS-TPRM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM, CIS-SM, CIS-DISCO, CIS-EM)
- Previous Consulting or Big 4 experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience serving as a solution architect or technical lead on ServiceNow implementation projects, with 6+ years delivering ServiceNow solutions in a client-facing consulting or professional services role. Also, 5+ years experience architecting solutions across multiple ServiceNow security and risk modules (ITOM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps, TPRM), and designing end-to-end solution architectures.
Nice to Have
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA)
- Experience with ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) and/or Privacy Management modules
- Experience with RSA Archer or other GRC platforms for migration or coexistence strategies with ServiceNow
- Experience building integration architectures with enterprise security tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Microsoft Sentinel, or threat intelligence feeds (STIX/TAXII)
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Predictive Intelligence, Now Assist, or GenAI capabilities
- Experience developing reusable reference architectures, delivery accelerators, or technical frameworks for a consulting practice
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR, or HIPAA and their implications on platform architecture decisions
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or TOGAF
- MS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or related field
