ServiceNow Business Architect

About This Role

The ServiceNow Business Architect is a senior expert responsible for defining and communicating the architectural roadmap for ServiceNow, translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions. This role ensures platform alignment with enterprise processes and IT standards, acting as a trusted advisor to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the architectural roadmap for ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategy.
• Assess technical issues, raise Architectural Decisions, evaluate solution options, and set agreement on recommended solutions.
• Evaluate emerging ServiceNow capabilities and industry trends to inform platform evolution.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to elaborate solutions, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives.
• Establish and enforce architectural guidelines, best practices, and governance frameworks across the platform.
• Guide developers, administrators, and solution architects in technical design, development, and integration.
• Drive solution architecture in collaboration with technical architects for various capability, process, and project teams.
• Ensure all capability/product requirements are correctly incorporated into the technical design of services.
• Assist with the identification of overlapping projects or products for the same capabilities.
• Assist with reviews of products and adjacent enterprise platforms to ensure alignment with desired platform and business strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology focusing on ServiceNow Development, Administration, and/or Architecture
• 2+ years of recent experience working on enterprise ServiceNow Architecture
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, scripting, integrations, and platform capabilities
• 2+ years of experience managing people and processes
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• At least 1 additional ServiceNow Certification (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional work experience
• Ability to travel 10%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent relevant professional work experience
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology focusing on ServiceNow Development, Administration, and/or Architecture, with 2+ years of recent experience in enterprise ServiceNow Architecture and 2+ years managing people and processes.
