About This Role

Provide prompt, friendly, and accurate food and beverage service to guests at the Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide clear descriptions of food and beverage options
• Deliver hot food items from the kitchen to tables promptly
• Input orders into the computer system and process accurate payments
• Prepare coffee and other specialized drinks
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
• Observe diners and respond to requests efficiently
• Complete daily inventory prep sheets and other side work
• Maintain knowledge and familiarity with current food and beverage offerings
• Escort guests to tables as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and available amenities

• Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to arrive and clock in on time for every shift
• Ability to clock in/out for breaks at the designated time
• Ability to provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively using the English language

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
