Lead transformative water infrastructure projects in Idaho, focusing on the analysis, design, and construction oversight of water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role involves managing design teams, preparing bid documents, and interfacing with clients and government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including advanced treatment/nutrient removal processes
- Prepare and review working drawings, details, layouts, cost estimates, studies, and reports
- Provide construction support and oversight, including administration, limited inspection, and start-up/operations support
- Provide document review of designs by others for conformance of design standards
- Support municipal water utility operations and maintenance teams
- Perform independent design tasks and review designs of others
- Prepare bid documents including drawings and specifications
- Organize all drawings, reports, calculations, and associated project deliverables
- Direct and manage a team of design engineers and/or technicians on water and wastewater projects
- Interface effectively with clients and Local, State, and Federal government agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering from an A.B.E.T. Accredited School
- Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in the design and construction oversight of water and/or wastewater infrastructure facilities and projects
- Experience working on Wastewater projects
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering from an A.B.E.T. Accredited School
- Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in the design and construction oversight of water and/or wastewater infrastructure facilities and projects.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree with a focus on treatment processes
- Experience with water/sewer modelling
- Experience with BioWin modeling
- Experience with advanced treatment/nutrient removal
- Experience with GIS systems
- Public works experience with local, state, or federal agencies
- Local candidates (relocation available for the right fit)
