Senior UX Designer, Digital Acceleration

About This Role

Lead and shape the user experience for Amazon's Digital Acceleration e-commerce engine, focusing on digital products like Kindle, Audible, and Prime. This role involves driving UX improvements and shaping innovative GenAI experiences to enhance internal client experience and process efficiencies globally.

Responsibilities

• Own the UX of a foundational framework for digital ecommerce at Amazon
• Translate complex customer interactions into simple, engaging user-centered solutions
• Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity design mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Lead the vision for a customer-centric UX, working closely with product and development teams to implement innovative concepts
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs to support decision-making and delivery of new features
• Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and align with business objectives
• Manage multiple projects, prioritizing based on business impact and customer outcomes

Requirements

• 8+ years of design experience
• Available online portfolio
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax

Qualifications

• 8+ years of design experience

Nice to Have

• Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
• Experience with UX design of complex workflows
