About This Role

This role involves supervising and directing staff in providing environmental engineering services for district transportation projects, including plans, specifications, estimates, design, construction inspection, and permitting. The Office Chief for Environmental Engineering Branch H will ensure compliance and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct staff in environmental engineering services for district projects
• Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation projects
• Oversee design drawings and documentation
• Conduct construction inspection and materials testing
• Perform water quality testing and secure necessary permits
• Administer contracts for transportation projects
• Engage in hydraulic engineering and drone surveys
• Utilize geospatial modeling and assist in project development
